Kwan Yin (Kuan Yin) is a revered bodhisattva in Buddhism, embodying compassion and mercy and is often referred to as "she who hears the cries of the world". 

She is known as the Mother of Compassion and helps to guide us into our enlightenment. Enlightenment is choosing to live in compassion, kindness and wisdom over fear, anger and judgement. With enlightenment we are able to live in harmony, in unity and in love.
